Chesapeake Bay: Folks are anxiously awaiting the arrival of warmer water temps and the spring bite of several species such as Croaker, Spot, and Flounder. A few have been targeting Flounder at the bridge tunnel, but action has been sparse at best. Some are still chasing Rockfish, which have migrated to spawn for the most part. Spring trophy season can’t arrive soon enough! Some anglers are still chasing Speckled Trout inside the Elizabeth River with decent results.
