Saltwater- Still the same story on the saltwater front. Bluefin Tuna have been caught by boats out of Oregon Inlet, but reports this week have been scarce. Ocean wrecks and structures are holding quality Tautogs still. The Norfolk Canyon is the place for Tilefish, but also Dogfish, so be prepared to deal with a large number of Dogs while targeting Tiles.

Saltwater- Giant Tautogs are being caught right now from ocean wrecks and structures. 2 fish in the 21 lb range have been caught this week. Tilefish action is good also, but Dogfish are numerous while targeting the Tiles. Both Blueline and Goldens are being caught with considerable size. Saltwater- There hasn’t been much to report lately, with the boat shows, and questionable weather. The best action has been for Tilefish in the deep water of the Norfolk Canyon. Both Blueline, and Golden Tiles are being caught when conditions allow. Ocean wrecks have been yielding Tautogs, but other species such as Seabass, usually have to be dealt with while targeting the Togs. Seabass must be released by recreational anglers. Saltwater-  Reports have been slow on the saltwater side of fishing. There are some reports of Bluefin Tuna, Bluefish, and Rockfish, 20 miles out. The main bite lately has been the Tilefish bite at the Canyons. Both Blueline and Goldens are being caught by willing anglers. Some Speckled Trout are being caught, but whereabouts are not being revealed.
